Ethyl acetate
It is a colourless, transparent, insoluble in water liquid. It is used as a solvent in paints and lacquers industry, to dissolve nitrocellulose, esters, polyacrylic resins and polyvinyl resins, chlorinated rubber, polystyrene, synthetic shellacs, colophony, fats, oils, and as a semi-product in the organic industry and pharmaceutical industry.
